About
Dana is a 21 year old college student working towards her Media, Cinema, and Digital Studies English degree at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee (UWM).Before attending UWM in the spring of 2018, Dana attended Governors State University for two and a half years where she served as a staff writer for a year (2016-2017) and editor in chief for half a year (2017) at her school newspaper The Phoenix. Her experience at The Phoenix gave her an enthusiasm for journalism, editing, and publishing. Only after studying abroad at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea (with help from the Gilman Scholarship) did Dana realize how much she appreciated her English skills.
Dana hopes to add a critical view to the media people view every day. While specializing in video games, Dana also enjoys films (especially animated ones) and studying online cultures and trends like kpop.
